As a
Business Intelligence Engineer , you will be responsible for working closely with client services/customer success leadership to define required reporting and analytical needs. The position will analyze, design, develop, and support initiatives to deliver end-user dashboards and reporting capabilities, as well as advanced reporting development and data analysis. Looking for technical individuals who are self-starters with strong communication skills and the ability to design sophisticated solutions from requirement gathering to implementation and deployment. The BI Engineer will also be instrumental in defining and tracking key performance indicators that are required to drive improvement.
The key responsibilities of the Business Intelligence Engineer include: Work closely with the team and users to design and deliver comprehensive reporting solutions Outline and facilitate the collection of key data sources needed to drive business insights and direction Design and administer a self-service reporting program to support the reporting needs of the enterprise organizations Assist in the analysis of information to understand various trends and related opportunities Interpret reporting results and assist in creation of action plans to drive business objectives Drive creation and administration of common definitions leading to accuracy and trust of reporting Assist clients in transitioning to data-driven decisions for any and all business objectives Do you have what it takes?

The skills required of this position include:
3+ years of experience in business intelligence, consulting, or equivalent Proficient in SQL and development in an analytics/data warehousing/big data environment Experience with SQL tuning a plus Experience in UX/UI for creation of data visualizations, dashboards, and reports using industry standard tools and techniques (Power BI highly preferred) Understanding of data analysis in relation to business process modeling Proficient in Microsoft Excel Experience with calculated fields Experience utilizing Databricks as the backend for business intelligence (highly desired) Ability to prioritize and manage multiple concurrent tasks Excellent time management, scheduling, and organizational skills B.S. in Computer Science, Information Technology, Statistics, Analytics, Mathematics, Engineering or related scientific field. Must have or be willing to obtain Secret Clearance (this requires US Citizenship) Acceptable candidates must successfully pass a drug test and background screen
