A Day in the Life:
Cybersecurity Operations (Primary Focus):
Lead day-to-day cybersecurity operations, including incident detection, response, and remediation.
Administer and improve key security platforms such as SIEM, EDR, IAM, and patch management tools.
Drive company-wide security awareness and training initiatives.
Coordinate penetration testing, vulnerability scans, and secure code reviews.
Support security audits, compliance reviews, and vendor security assessments.
Infrastructure & IT Operations:
Support core IT projects including network upgrades, system rollouts, and migrations.
Monitor and troubleshoot uptime and performance issues for key platforms.
Help manage endpoint configuration and compliance using tools like Microsoft Intune.
Automate routine systems tasks using PowerShell, Bash, or Python.

Required Experience:
High school diploma/GED
4–6 years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity, infrastructure engineering, or a combined IT role.
Must be able to work on-site at least part-time at our Dallas, TX location.
Working with MDR (Managed Detection & Response) or outsourced SOC providers.
Experience managing Microsoft 365 security, protection, and device compliance.
Exposure to vulnerability management, penetration testing, or secure software development.
Experience in regulated industries or mission-critical environments; aviation experience is a plus.
Experience:
Working with MDR (Managed Detection & Response) or outsourced SOC providers.
Experience managing Microsoft 365 security, protection, and device compliance.

Skills, Licenses, & Certifications:
Security+, CISSP, or Microsoft/Azure certifications.
Understanding of secure development lifecycle and DevSecOps practices.
Familiarity with NIST, CIS Controls, or similar frameworks.
Pay & Perks:
Compensation is $140,000-$160,00. This was established after performing market research and is aligned with our approach to compensation.
