Job Description
JOB SUMMARY:
Play a critical part in managing and maintaining our product lifecycle management systems, CAD tools, and infrastructure, ensuring the smooth operation of our product lifecycle management tools and platforms. This position will be responsible for day-to-day support calls, upgrades, patching, maintenance, and process changes.
This role is expected to be on-site in the Versailles, Ohio location 4 days a week. This is not a remote position.
ESSENTIAL/PRIMARY DUTIES: Manages and maintains engineering systems, servers, and infrastructure to ensure uptime, security, and reliability. Installs, configures, and maintains engineering software tools, applications, and collaboration platforms. Assists in data entry, data migration, and the maintenance of product data within the PLM system. Provides technical support to engineers and other team members, helping them troubleshoot and resolve software and system-related issues. Implements and enforces security best practices, data protection, and compliance measures within engineering systems. Continuously assesses and optimizes the performance, scalability, and efficiency of engineering systems. Develops and maintains robust backup and disaster recovery solutions to ensure data integrity. SECONDARY DUTIES:
Creates and updates documentation related to system configurations, processes, and training guides that ensure compliance with Midmark's Quality Management and Security standards. Collaborates with cross-functional teams, including IT, to ensure seamless integration and functionality of engineering systems. Identifies significant issues or decisions and recommends solutions. Conducts training sessions to educate engineers on the efficient use of engineering tools and systems. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Associate degree in engineering, business, computer science, or a related field. 2-3 years' experience in administering engineering software tools such as CAD, PLM, CAE, and 3D modeling applications.

COMPETENCY and/or SKILL:
Strong knowledge of server and infrastructure management, virtualization, and cloud platforms Familiarity with scripting and automation tools (e.g., PowerShell, Bash) for task automation Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Understanding of security protocols and data protection measures Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with a diverse team Attention to detail SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provides leadership, coaching, and/or mentoring to the co-op group.
