As

Associate Product Manager

for Account Transfers (aka ACATS) , you'll help shape our ACATS platform at Apex-a critical service that enables the seamless movement of client assets between financial institutions. Working alongside our senior product manager, you'll gain valuable experience in product development while supporting the evolution of this essential service. This role offers a unique opportunity to master the complexities of financial transfers while helping develop solutions that transform regulatory requirements into competitive advantages. You'll build expertise in a specialized domain that forms the backbone of modern investing platforms, collaborate across teams to improve processes, and contribute to enhancements that directly impact client experiences. You'll help shape Apex's critical platform that enables seamless movement of client assets between financial institutions. Working with our senior product manager, you'll support the evolution of this essential service while developing expertise in financial transfers. This role offers the opportunity to transform regulatory requirements into competitive advantages and contribute to our vision of extending our transfer capabilities as a revenue-generating service offering to external financial institutions. You'll build specialized domain expertise, collaborate across teams, and drive enhancements that directly impact client experiences in this foundational area of modern investing infrastructure.

Duties/Responsibilities

Drive prioritization and requirements definition for strategic initiatives and product priorities to deliver key business outcomes. Contribute to the quality of internal and external documentation Stay current with DTCC/NSCC regulations and requirements related to ACATS Build strong relationships with key internal stakeholders and clients Collate detailed requirements and define User Stories in collaboration with internal and external customers Work with development team and senior product managers to deliver, test, and measure newly-developed functionality Oversee multiple product management processes, establish priorities, and coordinate with teams to create schedules throughout the product life cycle Work collaboratively with various internal and external teams to resolve dependencies Promote adoption of the completed product and provide training tools/documentation to drive successful use Constantly collaborates with other departments to build trust and understanding. Support Sales/Relationship Management in customer meetings and calls as a subject matter expert Education and/or Experience

Bachelor's degree, preferably in a business-related or technical field (or equivalent work experience) required 2+ years of prior work experience preferred Prior experience in financial services; understanding of ACATS processing and DTCC/NSCC transfer protocols is a plus Experience with Agile development methodologies and the ability to adapt in a fast-paced iterative development environment. Experience in engaging with customers, gathering feedback, and translating it into actionable insights for product development. End-to-end SDLC Management (Software Development Life Cycle) Required Skills/Abilities

Strong problem-solving skills with great attention to detail Curiosity and a strong desire for learning and improvement Ability to thrive in collaborative environments Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communications Demonstrated leadership abilities within a team Interest in financial markets and fintech Ability to utilize analytics, user feedback, and market data to propose product improvements and innovations. Organizational skills and capacity to oversee multiple work streams Operational knowledge of project and communications software (e.g., Slack, JIRA, Confluence, etc.) Comfortable working with modern product management tools and platforms and possessing a basic understanding of software development processes. Understanding of service-oriented architecture and multi-tenant platforms a plus Work Environment

This job operates in a hybrid, office environment 3 days per week in the Austin Office
