As a Licensed Clinical Therapist, you will address a range of mental health conditions tailored to our diverse patient base. Your responsibilities will include providing both individual and group therapy, medication management, and participating in intensive outpatient programs.

Key Responsibilities: Establish strong provider-patient relationships and coordinate care with external professionals. Conduct comprehensive outpatient psychiatric evaluations and manage ongoing medication needs. Contribute to the educational experiences of our graduate students. Screen and assess patients for various mental health and substance abuse disorders. Deliver treatment utilizing cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, and other evidence-based methods. Continuously monitor treatment responses and track patient clinical symptoms and side effects. Possess opportunities to represent the practice through community presentations and lectures. Maintain accurate electronic medical records and clinical documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.

Required Qualifications: Master's degree in psychology, social work, or a related counseling field. Possession of a clear, active, and unrestricted license (LICSW, LMFT, LMHC, or LPC) in your state.

Preferred Qualifications: Two or more years of professional social work or clinical experience post-Master's degree. Experience providing direct psychotherapy services to individuals and families. Proficiency in using technology for professional communication and medical documentation (Excel, Outlook, Athena RMS, or other EHRs). A proven ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.

Rhode Island Residents Only:

The salary range for this position is $58,300 to $114,300 annually, based on various factors including local labor markets, education, work experience, and certifications. UnitedHealth Group adheres to all minimum wage laws. In addition to your salary, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase options, and 401k contributions are available (subject to eligibility).
