Senior Embedded Engineer (Space!!)

Save Job

My client is transforming the commercial space economy by building the first orbital factories in human history. From life-saving pharmaceuticals to ultra-high-performance materials, they're pioneering in-space manufacturing-and bringing the results safely back to Earth. With a founding team drawn from SpaceX, Blue Origin, and top venture firms like Founders Fund and Khosla Ventures, this company is redefining what's possible in low Earth orbit.

They're hiring an

Embedded Software Engineer

to help bring their reentry vehicles and space-based platforms to life. In this role, you'll develop deeply reliable flight software that controls how the spacecraft behaves-from orbit to reentry. You'll work across the full development lifecycle: capturing requirements, architecting real-time systems, writing C++ for bare metal, RTOS, or Linux environments, and validating mission-critical code for safety and performance. If you're passionate about building software that actually leaves the planet-and you thrive in low-ego, high-ownership environments-this is a rare opportunity to join the team in it's early mission Full time, Onsite in El Segundo.
