Description
Mission: IEC's Quality Inspector is relentless about precision, driven by a passion for excellence, and committed to ensuring every product that leaves our floor meets the highest standards of quality and safety. This role is essential to our promise to deliver flawless, reliable products to our customers every time. Outcomes Needed:
1. Complete 100% of required incoming, in-process, and final inspections. 2. Achieve 100% identification and quarantine of non-conforming materials, with all cases accurately logged in the NCR system and zero instances of unauthorized use or release. 3. Maintain 100% on-time calibration of all inspection tools, with zero overdue instruments and all records up to date in the calibration tracking system. 4. Deliver final products with zero defects to meet 100% customer satisfaction.
Role Competencies:
1. Proficiency in measuring equipment: Perform dimensional and visual inspections Accurately using measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges) 2. Technical Drawing proficiency: Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints 3. Detail-Oriented: Attentive to detail with a strong ability to detect defects and deviations from quality standards 4. Process Discipline: Follows operating processes/procedures, work instructions, and safety protocols without deviation; understands the importance of compliance 5. Team Collaboration: Work effectively with operators, engineers, and supervisors to resolve quality issues 6. Communication: Clearly communicates quality findings to production teams and supervisors; completes documentation thoroughly and accurately.
