***This role is located at various job sites throughout the Southeast and a limited number of jobsites in the Herndon, VA area.***

General Superintendent Key Responsibilities:
Manager schedules for staff, job, equipment, and 90-day schedules Mike final decision on all hiring/terminations Review all phase plans and ensure the planning process is being followed Train, develop, and mentor Level 1-3 Superintendents Ensure Superintendents are planning work 3 weeks in advance, using unit rates and quant Review and submit equipment requisitions Review division contract administration operations; recognize needed contract changes Comprehensive knowledge of all safety and quality policies Experience managing and handling union trades and halls Complete understanding of the PLA (Project Labor Agreement) they would be working toward Experience managing and handling the customers' expectations Ability to articulately lead daily or weekly meetings with the customer, explaining our position, our schedule, and our needs Experience with effectively managing and handling our subcontractors, understanding that we are successful when our subcontractors are successful Requiring the subcontractor to perform to our standards of quality and safety, and keep them on track to full fill our needs Qualifications:
10+ years' experiences as a heavy civil project superintendent or area superintendent Requirements:
Must have valid driver's license Must participate in pre-employment and random drug screening program. Subject to a background screening process
