Westaff is looking for Finishing Machine Operator for Manufacturer in Meriden, CT!
Job Title: Finishing Operator
Shift:
6:00AM to 4:30PM, Monday to Thursday
Pay Rate:
$19/hr BOE
The Finishing Machine Operator responsibilities are: Metal Painting/Coating, Post Cure, Buffing, De-flashing, Bonding, Engraving Various Machine Operations such as: Harperizer, Blaster, Ink Jet, Ink Stamp, Die-Cut, Priming, and High-Temp ovens Follow instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Identify issues and bring them to management's attention. Assist other staff with all duties when assistance is needed. Follow company policies and procedures to ensure compliance with all applicable state or federal laws. Participate in all required internal training. Performs other work as assigned within the department or in other departments as workload determines. The Mill Machine Operator requirements are:
Experience in a manufacturing environment Working knowledge of precision measuring equipment such as calipers and snap gauges Basic computer skills required Physical stamina and strength Must be able to stand for 10 hours Must be able to occasionally pick up 50lb boxes
