Position Title Residence Life - Student Facilities Assistant - Custodial
Student Status Work Study Optional -You are not required to be a Federal Work Study Recipient to hold this position.

Department Residence Life, Housing and Dining Services
Hiring Range $13.75/hour

Applicants must be currently authorized to work for ANY employer in the United States on a full-time basis. This position is not eligible for work visa sponsorship.
Department/Employer Operating Hours Monday-Friday - 8:00am-4:30pm
How many hours per week are required? 20/week
Description of Primary Duties
Custodial Clean buildings, furnishings, carpet and upholstery within assigned areas to include dusting, mopping, vacuuming, sweeping, etc. Trash and recycling removal Use the proper cleaning agent for each assigned task Assist with cleaning outdoor areas such as loading docks, verandas, etc. Other duties, as assigned Moving Crew
Assist with delivery of supplies or equipment using hand trucks, carts, or University vehicles Move, assemble, and set-up furniture in student rooms, lounges, offices, and other areas Arrange and coordinate furniture placement to best utilize space in rooms and in storage Assist with inventory review and documentation Pack and store student belongings due to improper check-out or lost and found Other duties, as assigned Required Qualifications
Good Communication, public relations, and customer service skills Must have and maintain a clean driving record and a valid driver's license (Moving Crew) Must be detail-oriented, punctual, dependable, and able to work independently Must be able to read, write, and understand English sufficiently enough to understand verbal and written instruction Ability to lift at least 50 pounds, push, pull, bend, stoop, stand for long periods of time, and climb ladders/stairs Ability to work as a team Prioritize time and tasks to ensure projects are completed in a timely manner
