Job description:
The IT Project Manager leads and manages IT projects. This role involves collaboration, resource management, risk mitigation, ensuring timely, within-budget, and high-quality project completion. The ideal candidate should have technical expertise, leadership skills, and a strong understanding of project management methodologies. Adherence to Project Management Institute standards, including waterfall and agile methods. Effective management of project scope, schedule, and budget. Develop and maintain a detailed project schedule utilizing Monday.com. Effective project risk management, issues, decisions, and change control. Document/deliverable tracking. Status reports and/or presentations to County leadership, as requested. Customer and vendor engagement. Additional project management services as defined by the IT PMO Manager. Requirements
Project Examples: County-wide Phone System Replacement and other projects as assigned and funded. Candidates must be extremely thorough and detail oriented. Demonstrated ability to manage time and workload independently and efficiently. Excellent writing skills. Ability to express themselves effectively and accurately in writing; experience writing and communicating technical terms into non-technical language is preferred. Project Management Professional preferred.
