is seeking a highly motivated

Full Stack Software Developer with a DevOps focus

to join our team supporting mission-critical government systems. This is a hands-on development role that requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams and direct engagement in all phases of the software development lifecycle in support of ongoing Department of Defense programs at Picatinny Arsenal in Dover, NJ. Candidate must be US Citizen with the ability to obtain a security clearance. Successful candidate will be a direct (W2) employee of WisEngineering. This opportunity is ideal for someone with a solid foundation in full stack development and experience or background in DevOps practices, especially continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD), containerization, and cloud infrastructure automation.

Full Stack Software Developer (DevOps-Focused)

This position is 100% on-site at Picatinny Arsenal in Dover, NJ. Remote work is not permitted.

Required Skills & Experience

3+ years of experience as a full stack developer and/or release engineer in an enterprise environment Hands-on experience in CI/CD pipelines using GitLab, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps Experience deploying and managing containerized applications with Docker, Docker Compose, or Kubernetes Exposure to infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform or Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates Cloud experience, especially with

Microsoft Azure , is highly desirable Strong understanding of software development best practices in Agile environments Ability to work proactively with developers, QA, and IT operations staff to streamline deployment processes Key Responsibilities

Work

on-site

at Picatinny Arsenal to support the development, deployment, and maintenance of secure, scalable software applications. Design, develop, test, and document front-end and back-end application components. Contribute to automated testing, CI/CD pipeline development, and infrastructure-as-code practices. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to testing, deployment, and system integration. Participate in formal software testing, including test review, witnessing, and certification activities. Prepare and maintain technical documentation, ensuring all code, release notes, and change logs are under proper configuration control. Support user acceptance testing (UAT), system integration testing (SIT), and other validation efforts. Engage in Agile project management using Atlassian JIRA and Confluence, with GitLab for version control and collaboration. Communicate clearly and consistently using structured ticketing systems and Microsoft Teams. Technical Environment

Used to track, resolve, and communicate status of all IT support and development tasks

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (required)

U.S. Citizenship (due to work on federal contract)
