We're searching for a Neurophysiology Systems Analyst, someone who's ready to be part of the best ranked children's hospital in Texas and among the best in the nation. In this position, you'll develop clinical/business solutions by investigating processes to understand data and communications flow with individual tasks and transactions within our integrated delivery system. This role will investigate processes to meet end user needs and provide financial systems support, coordinate system upgrades, and provide other system support.

Job Duties & Responsibilities • Assist users in determining specific requirements to increase system effectiveness • Analyze and evaluate existing and/or proposed systems • Document the current state into future states of clinical/business processes • Develop, schedule and facilitate test plans for hardware, network, integration, user acceptance and parallel usage for end-users • Update/develop downtime procedures for end-users • Develop training programs and materials/documentation for all user types • Review and test systems for conformance to functional and performance requirements • Identify the impacts and dependencies for optimization and upgrades • Facilitate design analysis with users to determine configuration for the user interface • Specify the design decisions in an accurate and testable manner • Evaluate business procedures and problems for process improvement • Recommend modifications to application design or current procedures to maximize advantages of existing resources • Perform application maintenance activities on IS supported applications • Assist with upgrade testing • Analyze impact on users and determines if additional training is required

Skills & Requirements • Required H.S. Diploma or GED with a preferred bachelor's degree in computer science, business administration, healthcare administration or nursing

• Required licenses

o REEGT - Reg Electroencephalographic Tech by the American Board of Registration of Electroencephalographic and Evoked Potential Technologists (ABRET) or

o REPT - Evoked Potentials by American Board of Registration of Electroencephalographic and Evoked Potential Technologists or

o RPSGT - Reg Polysomnographic Tech by American Board of Registration of Electroencephalographic and Evoked Potential Technologists

Experience: • 5 years of experience in electro neuro-diagnostic technology and 2 years of experience in healthcare operations and/or information systems • Bachelor's degree in computer science will substitute for the 2 years of experience in healthcare operations and/or information systems
