Candidate Requirements
A minimum of 5+ Years of experience with Power BI Proven experience as a Power BI Developer or Consultant, with a strong portfolio of Power BI projects. Expertise in designing and implementing data warehouse solutions (e.g., Microsoft SQL Server, Azure SQL Data Warehouse). Proficiency in SQL queries, stored procedures, and data modeling. Experience with ETL tools (e.g., SSIS, Azure Data Factory) and data integration techniques. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels. Certifications or Degrees Required: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Job Description Position Title: Power BI and Data Warehouse Architect Consultant Location: Youngstown State University - Remote Acceptable Job Type: Contract (3 Months) Overview: We are seeking a skilled Power BI and Data Warehouse Architect Consultant to join our team on a contract basis. The consultant will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our organization's Power BI solutions and data warehouse architecture. This role requires expertise in data modeling, ETL processes, and dashboard development using Power BI, along with a strong understanding of data warehousing principles and best practices. Responsibilities:
Design and implement scalable data models and ETL processes for our data warehouse. Develop and maintain Power BI reports, dashboards, and data visualizations to meet business requirements. Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Optimize performance of Power BI dashboards and data queries. Ensure data quality and integrity across the data warehouse and Power BI environment. Provide technical guidance and support to YSU team members as needed. Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in Power BI and data warehousing. Requirements:
Proven experience as a Power BI Developer or Consultant, with a strong portfolio of Power BI projects.
