Description
Classroom Coverage and Program Coordinator- $18.00-$18.60/hour
Pro Action's Head Start Program is looking for a full-time Classroom Coverage and Program Coordinator to Identify potential substitutes and review applications, conduct interviews, and verify qualifications. Provide new substitutes with necessary training on Head Start curriculum, policies, procedures, and safety protocols. Familiarize them with the classroom environment, routines, and expectations. Match substitute teachers with appropriate classrooms based on coverage needs.
The Coordinator will ensure substitutes are onboarded with a comprehensive overview of Head Start Performance Standards and OCFS Licensing Regulations and complete training in a timely manner.
Requirements
An associate's degree in human services, social work or a related field is required. A candidate with a high school diploma and 3-5 years' experience in the field will be considered. The ideal candidate will be proficient in data entry, be organized and able to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
The ideal candidate must have a valid driver's license, meeting agency standards and consistent, reliable transportation that will allow regular travel in and around the service area. Agency Driver Record History standards information can be obtained by calling Human Resources at 607-776-2125.
