Location: District-Wide ALL Locations 10 Month Position August-May Registration Specialist 20 Hours Per week
Summary of Position:
The ideal candidate will p rovide direct support to prospective Medford Public Schools (MPS) caregivers in registering their child or children for school.
Essential Functions: Gather pertinent student information and documentation complete the enrollment process
Demonstrate proficiency with data entry programs and other basic technology
Maintain accurate records and filing system
Exhibit patience and courteous customer service-oriented approach to foster relationships with families engaged in their initial experience with MPS
Provide timely and efficient support to school principals, assistant principals, and administrative assistants in ensuring new students are properly registered for school
Flexible mindset and willingness to learn new technologies aimed at making school registration process as simple as possible for families
Detail-oriented with appreciate for implications of properly registering students in the correct school communities in order to ensure the array of services to which each student is entitled are correctly identified for student prior to the commencement of instruction
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while preserving
confidentiality
Qualifications Proficiency in Google Suite
Able to use desktop computer, multi line phone system,copier/printer/scanner, Pocket Talk
Multi-lingual capacity prioritized
