Title: Mechanical Assembler
Shift: 1st Shift (6:00 AM - 2:30 PM, with potential for 5:00 AM - 3:30 PM for overtime)
Salary: $16-$23/hour, with bonus dependent on experience.

Our client is a rapidly expanding, privately held manufacturing company in Solon, OH. Due to significant growth and increasing demand for their products, they are seeking dedicated production staff to join their team as direct hires, contributing to their continued success and commitment to quality.
Mechanical Assembler Role:
This role is responsible for the assembly of products according to specifications and may involve operating machinery and providing guidance to junior assemblers, contributing to the overall production goals of the company.
Mechanical Assembler Responsibilities:
Follow our client's health and safety policies
Wear required safety equipment for tasks being performed
Fill out daily time sheets and work orders
Read and interpret blueprints and drawings to determine assembly specifications
Select proper hand and power tools to assemble products per drawing specifications
Use banding equipment, stretch wrap, and nail guns to package products for shipment
Perform paint touch-up on final assembled products
Clean work area at the end of each day
Inspect own work and potentially the work of Mechanical Assembler I
Set-up and operate drill presses, saws, and other equipment, possibly with supervisor assistance
Drill and tap parts as required
Provide guidance and instruction to Mechanical Assembler I
Mechanical Assembler Reporting Relationships: This candidate will report to a supervisor and may provide guidance to junior Mechanical Assembler personnel. About You: High School Diploma, Technical Trade School certification, or GED
Zero to five years of experience working in a manufacturing assembly environment
Zero to three years of experience operating drill presses, horizontal/vertical saws, and power hand tools
Have experience using inspection tools such as calipers and micrometers
Able to read and interpret blueprints/drawings
Able to select proper hand and power tools for assembly
Able to use banding equipment, stretch wrap, and nail guns
Willing to receive or currently hold tow motor certification
Able to perform paint touch-up
Able to inspect own work
Able to determine method and sequence for assembly, potentially without supervision
