We are seeking a Lead Software Verification Engineer to guide and mentor a team of talented test engineers working on cloud-based web and mobile applications in the medical technology space. This is a leadership role where you’ll be responsible for driving quality assurance strategies, ensuring regulatory compliance, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration.
Your role
Lead and mentor a team of test engineers focused on web and mobile application testing.
Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies and plans aligned with project goals and timelines.
Oversee the creation and maintenance of test cases, traceability matrices, and test documentation.
Ensure test protocols are generated and executed in compliance with regulatory standards.
Manage defect tracking, resolution processes, and quality metrics reporting.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality is embedded throughout the software development lifecycle.
Define and guide the test automation approach for both web and mobile platforms.
Continuously improve testing methodologies, tools, and team workflows.
Plan and allocate test resources effectively to meet project deadlines and quality expectations.
Communicate testing progress, risks, and outcomes to stakeholders and leadership.
Your skills and experience
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
10 years of experience in software testing, with at least 6 years in a leadership role.
Strong expertise in testing methodologies, tools, and frameworks for cloud-based (Azure) web and mobile applications (iOS/Android).
Proven experience managing testing teams and coordinating complex testing efforts.
Deep understanding of requirements traceability and test documentation in regulated environments.
Experience with regulatory compliance testing for medical applications (FDA, ISO 13485, IEC 62304).
Proficiency in test automation using Java, TestNG, and Appium.
