Description

The Vice President of Supply Chain is responsible for leading and managing all aspects of the company's supply chain operations, including procurement, logistics, inventory management, demand planning, production planning, and supplier relationships. This role ensures that the supply chain strategy aligns with overall business goals to drive efficiency, reduce costs, enhance customer satisfaction, and support scalable growth.

Requirements

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Develop and execute a comprehensive supply chain strategy that supports the company's long-term goals. Oversee procurement, strategic sourcing, and vendor management to ensure cost-effective and high-quality supply. Lead logistics and distribution operations, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of goods. Implement robust inventory management practices to balance cost and availability. Optimize demand and supply planning through forecasting, analytics, and cross-functional collaboration. Establish and track KPI's for supply chain performance, continuously identifying areas of improvement. Drive digital transformation and automation in supply chain processes. Collaborate closely with sales, Operations, Finance, and Product teams to align supply chain strategies with business needs. Build and develop a high=performing, results-driven supply chain team. Ensure compliance with regulatory and sustainability standards across the supply chain. NON-ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Public speaking at industry events. Mentoring outside the department Engaging in corporate strategy unrelated to Supply Chain Offering input on demand generation strategies or promotional logistics with sales campaigns. Leading green supply chain initiatives PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift to 15 pounds at times. COMPETENCY, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

Strong experience in global supply chain environment and systems. Experience with supply chain systems (WMS) and data analytic tools. Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills. Knowledge of lean manufacturing or other operational excellence methodologies is a plus. Able to chance focus frequently and often, while being detail oriented and well organized. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Strong supervisory and leadership skills. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

REQUIRED:

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field. 10+ years of progressive experience in supply chain or operations roles, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership position. PREFERRED:

MBA or relevant master's degree preferred. Experience in the industry Background in international supply chain management. Familiarity with ESG (Environment, Social and Governance) supply chain practices.
