What We Need:

Brady is looking for a Lead DevOps Software Engineer to join one of our software development teams, using modern development practices and the latest technology stack. Bring your engineering strengths and passion, to help Brady create an industry leading ecommerce solution that meets the safety, identification, asset tracking and compliance needs of our global customers. The core purpose of this position is to design and develop infrastructure and supporting systems around our ecommerce solution. If you love to solve complex problems, working with new development frameworks/cloud-based technologies and pushing the envelope on existing technologies, we want to talk to you.

What You'll Be Doing:

Enhancing the team’s infrastructure security protocols

Maintaining and improving the team’s cloud infrastructure

Working with CI and CD tools

Automating select systems administration tasks through creation and maintenance of scripts and tools

Suggesting technical alternatives and improves/streamlines processes and systems

Adjusting priorities and deliver business value as part of a scrum team

Analyzing monitoring and system performance data and provide improvement recommendations to product and system owners

Providing monitoring support and troubleshooting for all tier-one customer-facing services

What You Will Need To Be Successful:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field

5+ years of experience, preferably in web architectures and DevOps

Experience with web development using C#, .NET, and current Javascript frameworks

Experience with Cloud infrastructure (e.g. Azure, AWS, Google Cloud)

Experience with Creating and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, preferably using IaC

Experience Creating and maintaining Cloud Architecture, preferable using IaC

Experience implementing Web Services using SOAP or REST, as well as using existing Web services

Experience with the package managers (e.g. NPM, NuGet)

Experience with testing frameworks (e.g. MSTest, Selenium, Specflow)

Experience with scripting languages (e.g. PowerShell, Python)

Experience with application lifecycle management

Ability to diagnose and debug issues within development environments and customer solutions

Experience with version control & continuous integration systems (e.g. Azure DevOps, Octopus Deploy, TFS, Git)
