If so, we have an excellent opportunity for a marriage and family therapist who can provide our patients with long-term strategies to improve their relationships. You'll provide patients with crisis intervention, diagnose psychological problems, identify problematic patterns that need to be modified, help strengthen their communication, and address dysfunctional behaviors. Responsibilities: • Perform intake and needs assessments for individuals, significant others, and family members through testing, interviews, observations, and conversation sessions • Collaborate with community organizations and attend weekly clinical team meetings • Document patient records accurately and thoroughly in accordance with facility and licensing standards • Participate in the development, implementation, and assessment of therapeutic treatment programs for each patient • Deliver mental health services to families, couples, individuals, and children by employing solution-focused counseling techniques • Conduct clinical assessments and evaluations to determine appropriate treatment plans for clients • Provide individual and group therapy sessions to clients with a variety of behavioral health concerns • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment goals and interventions • Collect and analyze data to monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as needed • Utilize evidence-based practices in clinical counseling and therapy techniques • Work with individuals with developmental disabilities, including those with special education needs • Provide behavioral therapy and interventions to promote positive behavior change • Conduct research and stay up-to-date on the latest developments in the field of mental health counseling • Collaborate with pediatricians and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to pediatric clients Qualifications: • Additional certifications required: CPR, BLS (Basic Life Support) • Current and unrestricted state license as an LMFT (licensed marriage and family therapist) or equivalent • A minimum of 1-3 years of experience in a clinical setting working as a marriage and family therapist • Superb problem-solving and analytical skills are required, as well as outstanding interpersonal and communication skills • Must have a high school diploma or GED equivalent and a bachelor’s degree in counseling, social work, or related field; preference to those with a master’s degree • Master's degree in Marital and Family Therapy, Clinical Counseling, Psychology, or a related field • State licensure or certification as a Clinical Therapist • Experience working with couples and families is strongly preferred • Strong understanding of family systems techniques and interventions • Experience with addictions and/or trauma-informed care is a plus Compensation: $72,000 - $125,000 yearly
