Group Details

This position is responsible for delivering and maintaining high-impact, data-driven insights, recommendations and metrics around trading activity and trends for the Institutional US Rates platform. An ideal candidate will be a natural problem solver, strategic thinker with intellectual curiosity, results driven and possess a strong interest in finance and data analytics

Job Responsibilities

Utilize Python /Tableau /SQL/VBA to create useful, visually appealing dashboards for internal and external use

Build and test models to predict market trends such as trade cost and pricing based on publicly available and proprietary data, using traditional methods as well as ML when appropriate

Partner with sales, product and senior management teams to create and maintain effective and compelling analysis and reports

Develop working relationships across multiple internal departments to effectively collate and analyze data

Understand legacy reporting infrastructures and adjust accordingly to align with data governance, compliance, marketing and business needs

Identify external data requests that need to be streamlined to allow for more efficient ways to provide approved data to clients.

Analysis of trading and market data to identify trends and patterns in market/customer behavior, generate recommendations to optimize across different dimensions

Find ways to create revenue generating data products beyond standard reporting

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance or any equivalent analytic field of study or equivalent work experience

5+ years experience

Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels of employees, management, and other members of the business

Ability to work well with others in a team-oriented environment

Excellent written and oral communication skills

Ability to work under pressure and able to handle multiple tasks with efficiency on a daily basis

Proven analytical skills; ability to create reports and model data

Fluency in Tableau and other data visualization software is required

Expert Excel knowledge is required

SQL experience is required

Python experience is required

Experience and understanding for Rates and Fixed Income Markets is a plus

The current pay range for this role if performed in the city of New York is currently $100,000 to $250,000 per year, based on a regular, full-time schedule. The amount of pay offered will be determined by a number of factors, including but not limited to qualifications, market data, geographic location, and internal guidelines.
