Here is a look of some of the expectations and responsibilities for this position: Position Summary The Enterprise Data Management Business Analyst serves as a critical bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, focusing on optimizing data assets across the organization. This role translates business requirements into data solutions, ensuring that enterprise data is properly managed, governed, and leveraged for business value. Responsibilities Capture and translate requirements into data specifications and analysis plansExcellent business requirements gathering and documentation abilitiesExperience with data warehouse design and frameworksUnderstand principles of data architectureStrong proficiency in SQL and data manipulationRequirement solicitation for structure, tooling, volume, maturity, risk, and operations.Analyze current business processes and data workflows to identify opportunities for improvementGather and document detailed requirements from stakeholders regarding data management needsAssist in defining data models, mappings, and metadata repositoriesCreate and maintain documentation for data lineage, business glossaries, and data dictionariesSupport data governance initiatives by helping define and implement data policies and standardsPrepare detailed reports and presentations on data management issues and solutionsFacilitate communication between technical teams and business unitsRequired Qualifications Bachelor's degree in business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field7+ years of experience in business analysis, preferably in data-intensive environmentsStrong understanding of data management concepts including data modeling, ETL processes, and data governanceExperience with requirements gathering and documentation techniquesProficiency with SQL and data analysis toolsExcellent communication and presentation skillsDemonstrated ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical audiencesPreferred Qualifications Certifications in business analysis (CBAP, PMI-PBA) or data management (CDMP)Experience with DCAMKnowledge of industry data standards and regulations (Basel, GDPR, etc.)Knowledge of data frameworks such as Inmon, Kimball, and ZachmanFamiliarity with data quality and master data management tools especially CollibraExperience in banking/finance domainsUnderstanding of big data technologies and cloud-based data platformsLocation:This position is in Lake Mary, Florida At Techstra Solutions, we help top companies and brands achieve the business value of Digital and Talent Transformation.
