Automation Engineers

Selectek is partnering with a company located near Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to fill an Automation Engineer  role. This client is seeking an experienced candidate to work on projects in industrial settings. Employment Type: Direct Hire Expected Pay Range: $85,000-$100,000 per hour plus bonuses, depending on experience Location: Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania Job Requirements: - 5+ years of experience  working in automation and controls design - Bachelor’s degree in electrical or electromechanical engineering - PLC programming and configuration in Siemens and Allen Bradley ecosystems - Designing control systems for robotic cells and other industrial processes - Able to travel up to 30% and work in an on-call rotation In addition to these requirements, candidates must hold United States citizenship, per the client’s request. Job Details: - Design and program PLC/HMI hardware   - Interface with customers to discuss specifications and end-user goals for machines - Design, test (FAT/SAT), commission and evaluate operations of automated systems - Work with customer to finalize system design, controls package and operator interface (HMI) - Manage project scope, budget, and schedule - Provide expert technical advice on PLC/HMI systems to customer Schedule: Monday – Friday, normal work hours.
