The Enterprise Applications Engineer will play a key role in maintaining, supporting, and enhancing the firm's legal technology ecosystem. This includes administration of the document management system, Microsoft 365 suite and add-ins, PDF and collaboration tools, and a wide array of specialized legal applications. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, technically proficient, and possesses a deep understanding of legal technology requirements and best practices.
Key Responsibilities
Install, configure, maintain, and support a broad suite of legal software applications
Serve as the technical lead for the firm's document management system (iManage or NetDocuments)
Perform integration, packaging, and configuration of enterprise software
Provide expertise on enterprise application usage and ensure optimization across practice areas
Conduct QA testing and troubleshoot software issues, including configuration enhancement requests
Participate in transitioning legacy on-premise applications to cloud platforms
Evaluate and recommend upgrades, updates, and new application solutions
Collaborate with Information Security to enforce secure architecture and patch management
Create technical documentation and assist in developing end-user training materials
Ensure compliance with firm policies including change management and continuity processes
Provide after-hours support as needed Required Qualifications
5+ years of experience in enterprise applications engineering within a law firm or professional services environment
Hands-on experience with iManage or NetDocuments (administration and support)
Proficiency with Microsoft 365 suite, including Teams, OneDrive, and common legal add-ins
Demonstrated experience supporting cloud migrations and maintaining SaaS legal applications
Solid understanding of user identity, access control, and application security frameworks
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
Excellent communication skills and a proactive, team-oriented mindset
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-demand environment
Flexibility to provide support outside standard business hours
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred
Compensation: $150,000 - 175,000 Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications.
