Job Opportunity: QA-NDT Inspector
Location:
Various (CONUS and OCONUS travel may be required) Experience Required:
2-5 years in NDT and Quality Control/Assurance
About the Role:
NSC Technologies is seeking a QA-NDT Inspector responsible for conducting and documenting inspections according to customer and contractual requirements. The ideal candidate will perform Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) and maintain comprehensive records of inspection activities.
Key Responsibilities: Oversee and monitor inspections, documenting results on required forms. Perform VT, MT, PT, and UT inspections as needed. Understand and apply NAVSEA Standard Items and other Government Specifications. Analyze documents, drawings, and customer requirements to ensure compliance with quality standards. Generate and review condition found reports, test and inspection plans, and corrective action reports (CAR). Inventory and maintain test equipment and gauges. Prepare training materials and conduct training sessions as needed. Perform audits and surveillance as assigned. Work independently to fulfill responsibilities and maintain reliable attendance. Abide by all safety requirements and protocols. Qualifications:
2-5 years of experience in NDT and Quality Control/Assurance. Certifications in VT, MT, PT, and/or UT preferred. Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, communication, and writing skills. Strong organizational skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office products. Related Department of Defense experience and familiarity with government customer relations preferred. Experience with NAVSEA Standard Items and ISO requirements is a plus. Ability to access Government Facilities. Benefits:
