PI Solutions Architect II
Location -
Torrance, CA (Hybrid of 4 days/week onsite and 1 day/week remote) Contract Duration -

s an API Solution Architect, this person will be tasked establishing best practices for API and integration development, including governance, versioning, documentation, and testing. This Architect should be well versed in the following areas:
Designing, developing, and implementing API solutions. Leveraging cloud technologies, microservices architecture, and best practices in API management to deliver robust and scalable solutions. Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams and collaborating with stakeholders to drive technical innovation and achieve business objectives. Working knowledge of Managed File Transfers. Responsibilities will include the following: Manage the API lifecycle using Apigee, optimizing performance and reliability and provide centralized control over API traffic, security, and analytics. Meet with application teams to understand requirements and recommend high-level direction and approach to upcoming projects. Provide technical leadership in the transition to a microservices architecture, reducing system complexity and improving maintainability. Develop and maintain web services to support business operations and third-party integrations. Play a key role in the migration of legacy systems to cloud-based solutions on AWS. Design and implement a cloud-based MFT solution on AWS, enabling secure and scalable file transfers for a global e-commerce platform. Play a key role in the migration of legacy systems to cloud-based solutions on Azure. Develop and maintained web services to support business operations and third-party integrations. rchitect microservices-based systems on AWS and Azure, enhancing system flexibility and performance. ttend ARB meetings to understand the new project requirements, as related to API and Integration design, build and implementation solutions. Enhance application performance through efficient API design and optimization techniques. Design and implement comprehensive API and integration solutions for enterprise clients, aligning with their strategic goals and technical requirements. Implement API security protocols, including OAuth 2.0 and JWT, to safeguard sensitive data. Improve data accuracy and reduce transaction processing time through optimized integration workflows. Integrate the MFT solution with existing ERP and CRM systems, streamlining data exchange and improving operational efficiency. Implement CI/CD pipelines to streamline the deployment process and reduce time-to-market. Required Skills and Expertise:
Master's degree in Information Systems (IS), Computer Science, software engineering, information technology and/or equivalent industry experience. 5-10 years of experience designing, developing, and implementing API solutions across various industries. dept at leveraging cloud technologies, microservices architecture, and best practices in API management to deliver robust and scalable solutions. 2-4 years of experience in working large scale projects. Strong technical knowledge of various API related to technologies (Data Power, Rest API, IBM Cloudpak, Kafka etc.) their administration, architecture/design, analysis, and management. Strong technical knowledge of MFT related technologies (Exa: Axway MFT, Kong, GoAnywhere, Mulesoft, Moveit etc.) their administration, architecture/design, analysis, and management. Skilled in leveraging industry-leading MFT platforms to enhance data security, compliance, and operational efficiency. Should have knowledge of cloud computing concepts. Extensive application support experience working with application teams. High-level understanding of IT infrastructure planning and development. In-depth knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws. Expertise in leading cross-functional teams and collaborating with stakeholders to drive technical innovation and achieve business objectives. Good understanding of Project Management skills. Excellent understanding of the organization's goals and objectives. Desired Skills and Expertise:
