POSITION SUMMARY:

The Assembly Technician position is a full-time/day shift role on the Manufacturing - Assembly team. The successful candidate will be able to follow written and verbal instruction from trainer/lead/manager. After training, the technician should be able to execute repetitive tasks under limited supervision. The Assembly Technician must be detail oriented and self-motivated. This position reports to the VP of Operations and is responsible for reporting any work-related issues (safety, quality, and procedural) for all work performed to VP of Operations.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Read and understand all documentation related to tools. Perform the set-up and verification of equipment and process. Prepare work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials. Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Assemble components by examining connections for correct fit; fasten parts and subassemblies. NON-ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Performs other duties as required or/and directed by the manager. POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

Dexterity: Assemblers work with their hands, whether directly manipulating components or using controls on an assembly machine. Strength: Some assembly jobs will require strength to lift heavy objects during the assembly process. Mechanical/Technical Skills: Assemblers need to be able to read and understand instructions, manuals, and work with computers, press, drill and other hand tools to complete their job. Strength: Some assembly jobs will require strength to lift heavy objects during the assembly process. Stamina: Assemblers are on their feet and sitting for long periods of time often doing repetitious motions. Color Vision: Assemblers will need to be able to identify different color wires, connectors and electronic components in order to put them together correctly. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagrams, or schedule forms. Proficiency in hand soldering techniques. Prior certification preferred but not required. A minimum of 6 months in a manufacturing environment or similar work environment/working on the production line is preferred but not required as a successful candidate will be trained to perform work required. Intermediate computer knowledge including Word and Excel. OTHER REQUIRMENTS:

Must demonstrate a high sense of urgency, initiative, and common sense Must present a professional demeanor and demonstrate an ability to work with a diverse group of individuals Must be energetic, work quickly and efficiently with a high attention to detail and accuracy; able to effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast paced and dynamic environment Maintain station cleanliness and safety of all assigned equipment and tools. Ability to work well in a customer environment with various levels of patient contact EDUCATION:

High School preferred or equivalent experience required. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Prolonged periods of time sitting or standing at a desk working on a computer. Ability to lift a minimum 40 pounds -at times or on a regular basis. Ability to wear and operate Ekso Bionics products safely
