This role provides Level 3 Help Desk Support and Network Administration, assisting users with all aspects of computer usage. You'll be responsible for guiding other IT team members, offering recommendations for solving complex problems related to computer equipment, operating systems, and printer support. Additionally, you'll provide strategic input on network addressing systems, layouts for various configurations, and appropriate connection devices to ensure optimal IT infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

Create tickets for all email/phone calls that come in outside of the ticketing application. Maintain SLA's for all issues. Manage all servers, including email, domain, telephony, print, and backup servers and their operating systems, including both hardware and software. Monitor and identify server capacity and performance issues Support network hardware and equipment for LANs, WANs, and wireless networks, including servers, routers, hubs, switches, SonicWall's, FortiGate's, UPSs, and other hardware. Provide recommendations for near and long-term capacity needs Monitor, test, and report on network performance; troubleshoot areas as needed Create and maintain documentation of network configuration, mapping, processes, and service records Assist with installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of end-user workstation hardware, software, and peripheral devices Ensure network connectivity of all servers, workstations, telephony equipment, fax machines, and other network appliances. Support remote user connectivity, including business partner companies Maintain procedures for network security, administration, usage, and business recovery Work to maintain strict compliance with NIST Cybersecurity standards. Recommend, schedule, and perform software and hardware upgrades, improvements, and purchases Support VoIP infrastructure and its associated software, including call management systems, voicemail Support for Hyper V Administer and maintain Active Directory accounts, permissions, and access rights Support and maintain web servers and associated operating systems Special projects and duties as assigned Must maintain flexible availability on off-shifts and weekends to provide critical support as needed. This position may require up to 25% travel to Brunk Industries Satellite locations based on business needs

Qualifications

Firewalls, Switches, and Routers Configuration Virtualization Software (VMware Virtual Box and Microsoft Virtual PC, Hyper V), Ability to configure software and hardware for P.C. Proficient in troubleshooting software and hardware-related issues Complete understanding of antivirus malware and spyware deployment tools Understanding of how to apply and deploy Active Directory DNS and other network services Deploying and maintaining Operating Systems Able to provide technical support to users on various technological levels Experience using Wireshark, Nmap, SQL, PowerShell, Bash, Git, Python Configuring (LAN, WLAN, and WAN) networks, Brunk Exchange Administrator. Education and Experience:

The minimum educational requirements listed below may be substituted by relevant experience, learned competencies, and/or certifications obtained throughout one's career.

Degree or certification in Computer Networking Systems Bachelor's degree in computer-related field Work Environment/Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift 50 pounds or more Safety shoes and safety glasses (on shop floor)
