Program Support Specialist - Health - Early Head Start

Exciting opportunity to join Riverside Community Care as a Program Support Specialist - Health - Early Head Start!

In this vital role, the Program Support Specialist - Health is responsible for supporting the program in meeting or exceeding all relevant Head Start Performance Standards and assisting program staff in delivering high quality services and programming within the program and community settings.

The Program Support Specialist - Health will:

manage transportation and maintenance of the REHS van

maintain facility certifications

manage safety drills and necessary equipment

support socialization groups

assist during parent meetings, Policy Council and off-site events

shop for and prepare program’s CACFP nutritional offering as necessary

perform mandatory program reporting

assist in the development and completion of program specific projects

Schedule: Full Time Monday through Friday 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Rate:

High School Diploma:

$20.00/hour

$20.96/hour with bilingual language skills

Associate's Degree:

$21.44/hour

$22.40/hour with bilingual language skills

Bachelor's Degree:

$22.18/hour

$23.14/hour with bilingual language skills

Required Skills

Knowledge of database software; Internet software; Project Management software; Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software and Order Processing Systems

Must receive background check clearance for Criminal Offender Record Information (CORI), Sex Offender Register Check (SORI), Finger Printing and Department of Children and Families

Must be certified in pediatric CPR/FA

Bilingual English/Spanish preferred

Current Massachusetts driver’s license and access to a reliable transportation

Required Experience

High School Diploma or equivalent

One to two year’s related experience with families with very young children preferred

Experience with a variety of cultures and languages and with low-income populations
