Food & Beverage Manager.
Astor Creek Country Club is located on the Treasure Coast, in Port St. Lucie, one of the fastest growing cities in Florida. The Club features a signature 18-hole golf course designed to provide a blend of challenge, tranquility and playability. Plans for the complete golf experience include a Pro Shop, 15-acre driving range, 3-acre short game complex, and a 15,000 sq. ft. practice putting green. The Club will also feature a fitness facility, sports courts, dining options, Sports Bar, and a resort-style pool.
Salary range of $75,000 - $88,000 annually dependent upon experience with bonus potential

Job purpose
The Food & Beverage (F&B) Manager is responsible for overseeing front-of-house operations, ensuring exceptional service and a positive guest experience. This includes managing staffing, schedules, payroll, and training, as well as maintaining operational efficiency, safety, and compliance. The F&B Manager collaborates with the Executive Chef and General Manager to drive financial performance, manage inventory, and promote club events, all while fostering a service-focused, team-oriented environment.
Duties and responsibilities Lead the Front-of-House Team:
You'll oversee and inspire a dynamic front-of-house team to deliver impeccable service and create a welcoming, memorable experience for all our members. Scheduling & Payroll Pro:
You will monitor and manage weekly employee schedules and payroll records, ensuring efficiency while keeping labor costs in line with the club's goals and operational needs. Recruitment & Training:
From hiring new team members to providing comprehensive orientation and ongoing training, you'll ensure that everyone is set up for success. You'll cultivate a service-first mindset that focuses on safety, accuracy, and member satisfaction. Performance & Development:
You'll provide feedback, document performance during the 90-day probation period, and lead annual reviews. You'll also offer continuous opportunities for training and growth to keep the team motivated and on track. Budget & Financial Responsibility:
You'll collaborate with the management team to develop and adhere to operational budgets, ensuring that all expenses, supplies, and services are accounted for and managed efficiently. Safety & Compliance Champion:
Implement and uphold safety programs and ensure that the team adheres to all safety protocols. You'll also ensure compliance with state and federal laws, liquor control requirements, and health department codes. Operational Excellence:
Keep the front-of-house operations running smoothly, from managing inventory to ensuring the cleanliness and organization of all service areas. You'll also complete opening and closing checklists to ensure everything is ready to go for the day ahead. Guest Experience Focus:
Be the face of exceptional service. You'll promote F&B activities, assist with member relations, and ensure that every guest leaves with a smile. Your energy and enthusiasm will set the tone for each guest's experience. Daily Walk-Throughs:
Conduct daily walk-throughs to ensure the facility is clean, safe, and presentable, and that all members of the team are delivering service with courtesy, professionalism, and efficiency. Inventory & Stock Management:
Stay on top of daily activity, ordering of products, stock levels, and monthly inventory to ensure we're always stocked and ready to go, while minimizing waste and controlling costs. Promote Events & Activities:
You'll be at the forefront of organizing and promoting F&B events and activities, ensuring they're a hit with our members and contribute to a vibrant, exciting atmosphere at the club. Collaborate & Communicate:
Attend and participate in weekly department meetings, collaborate with the Executive Chef and GM, and help ensure that the entire team is working toward shared goals and success. Protect the Club's Assets:
You'll have a keen eye for protecting the assets of the club, from inventory to equipment and supplies, ensuring everything is properly accounted for and cared for. Qualifications
Proven experience as a Food & Beverage Manager, Restaurant Manager, or a similar role with a solid understanding of FOH operations Experience overseeing a member wine club including curating wine selections, plan tastings, wine-pairing dinners, and track membership trends to encourage growth and retention Food Handler's Certificate required ServSafe Certification required Passion for hospitality Strong Leadership skills, with ability to inspire, train, and manager a team Solid understanding of budgeting, cost control, and managing financial aspects of F&B operations. Excellent problem-solving skills Strong verbal and written communication skills
Working conditions
Work is primarily indoors. Potential exposure to sharp and rapid equipment movement, sharp utensils, harmful chemicals and/or being exposed to flying golf balls.

Perform activities such as bending, kneeling, crouching, climbing, reaching, standing, pushing, lifting and grasping for up to 5 hours without sitting. Ability to consistently lift, carry and load adaptive and other equipment that may weigh 30 or more pounds, and sustain aerobic activity for 20 consecutive minutes.
