Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead and oversee HVAC, plumbing, and process sales projects while managing field labor coordination. This role is ideal for a proactive, results-driven professional who can build and maintain strong client relationships, drive successful project execution, and ensure seamless collaboration across internal departments.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary point of contact for both the company and the client throughout the project lifecycle.
Oversee all aspects of project management, from concept engineering and estimating to final execution.
Manage contracts, including sales, procurement, and project execution, ensuring all deliverables are met.
Coordinate field labor and installation schedules in collaboration with field leadership.
Ensure projects stay within budget, control costs, and provide financial forecasting.
Prepare key documents, including proposals, contracts, change orders, and strategic plans.
Monitor billing and job costs for financial accuracy.
Client & Team Collaboration:
Lead client meetings and manage contract development to finalize sales.
Maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, subcontractors, and industry professionals.
Work closely with internal teams across Engineering, Purchasing, Accounting, Construction, and Service departments to ensure project success.
Participate in strategic planning initiatives to enhance technical capabilities in estimating, engineering, and installation.
Communication & Leadership:
Attend project management, sales, and construction meetings.
Schedule and coordinate pre-construction kickoff meetings.
Leverage internal resources effectively to meet customer requirements.
Mentor and support team members, contributing to recruitment, training, and development efforts.
Take on special assignments as needed to achieve company goals.
Qualifications & Experience:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field (preferred).
Experience: 5+ years in estimating, design, or managing HVAC projects ranging from $50,000 to $25M+.
Strong ability to operate independently while aligning with company goals.
Proven integrity and professionalism in business dealings.
Demonstrated experience in business development and client acquisition.
Strong project management skills with excellent organization and problem-solving abilities.
