Level Of Experience: Mid-Level

Employment Type: Contract on W2 (Need US Citizens Or GC Holders Or OPT EAD)

Work hours: 8 to 5

3 must haves on the resumes:

A.S. Degree or experience in electrical/mechanical work and troubleshooting; MS Excel knowledge; device manufacturing experience

Client looking for an Engineering Technician with:

A.S. degree

2+ years’ experience manufacturing assembly (working in a device manufacturing environment) with electrical and mechanical troubleshooting experience

Solidworks knowledge a plus

Job Description:

General job requirements:

Responsible for building, testing and troubleshooting electrical/electronic circuitry and other systems used in finished equipment or during prototype builds of new products.

Demonstrates working understanding of electronic and electromechanical systems.

Demonstrates working understanding of a variety of laboratory test equipment.

Assembles prototype devices and systems.

Fabricates electronic and electromechanical test fixtures.

Able to execute pre-defined subsystem/system qualification protocols with moderate supervision.

Sets up data equipment to capture test data.

Performs basic statistical analysis of results. Investigates, analyzes, repairs, and documents component or system level failures. I

Works within established SOPs and / or scientific methods and adheres to quality guidelines.

Works with a moderate degree of supervision.

For this specific assignment:

Assist in the manufacturing process development for new products by assisting the NPI MFG Engineer during pilot builds, documenting process steps, tools and go-no/go criteria; managing flow of materials from suppliers, secured stocking locations and into the manufacturing area; and gathering part spec sheets and ROHS certification.

Participate in medical device hardware assembly during pilot and Prototype builds

Document assembly steps, tool used, track build times, acceptance criteria for completeness and correctness of assembly, and assisting in design-for-manufacturability.

Manage prototype and pilot build material from tracking materials arriving from suppliers and through warehousing, to inspection for quality defects and completeness, to physically moving them from workspace to workspace.

Inspect parts to specification sheets and drawings, and dispositioning non-conforming parts, or updating documentation as needed

Familiar with MS Office applications

Solidworks knowledge a plus
