We're building a platform that empowers engineers with real-time access to critical data, enabling faster decisions, increased system reliability, and more agile development cycles. We're seeking a strategic and technically curious Business Development Representative to help scale our reach across aerospace, defense, autonomous systems, and infrastructure. This is not a high-volume sales role, it's an opportunity to work closely with engineering teams, understand complex workflows, and identify the moments where our platform can make a life-or-death difference.About UsWe are a venture-backed startup founded by veterans from top-tier engineering teams who experienced firsthand the challenges of managing high-frequency telemetry and mission-critical data. We're building a category-defining product and growing fast.Job DutiesOwn and manage a pipeline of high-impact prospects across government, aerospace, and industrial sectorsConduct deep discovery into customer pain points, system workflows, and technical bottlenecksNavigate complex organizations to uncover decision-making processes across engineering, procurement, and leadership teamsQualify and nurture strategic opportunities using insight, creativity, and a technical mindsetCollaborate with Product, Engineering, and Solutions teams to ensure we deliver on what's promisedSupport field events, customer pilots, and partnership development as part of broader go-to-market initiativesRepresent the voice of the customer internally to inform roadmap and sales strategyQualifications3+ years in a customer-facing, results-driven environment (sales, consulting, military, sourcing, or technical project roles)Experience selling into or working with engineering teams, government agencies, or technical stakeholdersStrong communication skills with the ability to simplify complex topics for a variety of audiencesComfort operating in fast-moving, ambiguous environments with a high degree of ownershipDeep curiosity about hard tech, defense innovation, or mission-critical systemsPreferred ExperienceBackground in defense, advanced manufacturing, or infrastructureFamiliarity with capture management, pricing strategies, or federal procurementExposure to startups or early-stage product development environmentsUnderstanding of proposal development, RFI/RFP processes, or SBIR/STTR strategiesSecurity ClearanceMust be able to obtain US Secret clearance.Why Join UsWork at the intersection of software, hardware, and mission-critical innovationBe part of a world-class team of engineers, operators, and buildersEquity options in a fast-growing, venture-backed startupStrong PTO policy and paid holidaysMedical, dental, and vision benefitsOpportunity for rapid growth and meaningful impactCompensation Details$90,000 - $130,000 OTE plus equity
