TIME CLOCK & IT TECHNICIAN AT PRIMEFLIGHT

The Time Clock and IT Technician is responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, and support of time clock systems and related IT equipment at the airport. This position involves ensuring the accuracy and functionality of timekeeping systems used by airport staff, including clock synchronization, data entry, and troubleshooting time-related issues. You will collaborate with the IT department to address any technical issues or updates required for time clock systems. Additionally, this role requires providing technical support to airport employees and assisting with the resolution of IT-related inquiries. This position plays a vital role in ensuring the seamless operation of timekeeping systems critical to airport staffing and payroll processes.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Install and maintain time clock systems: Ensure the proper functioning of all time tracking hardware and software throughout the airport

Troubleshoot and repair time clock system issues: Address technical problems quickly to minimize disruptions in employee time tracking

Conduct regular system updates and upgrades: Keep the time clock software updated with the latest features and security patches

Train staff on time clock system usage: Educate employees on how to use the time tracking system effectively and accurately

Manage user accounts and access permissions: Control and monitor access to the time clock system to maintain security and data integrity

Compile and analyze time clock data for payroll processing: Ensure accurate data collection for timely and correct payroll computation

Coordinate with HR and payroll departments: Work closely with human resources and payroll teams to align time clock data with employee records and payments

Implement IT solutions to enhance time clock system efficiency: Explore and integrate IT innovations to improve time tracking processes

Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations: Maintain the time clock system in accordance with legal requirements for employee working hours

Provide technical support and assistance to users: Offer helpdesk support for time clock-related queries and technical issues

Develop and maintain IT documentation and manuals: Create comprehensive guides and documentation for the time clock system

Monitor system performance and conduct regular audits: Assess the time clock system regularly to ensure optimal performance and accuracy

Implement network security measures for time clock systems: Ensure robust cybersecurity practices are in place to protect sensitive time tracking data

Collaborate with IT department on broader tech initiatives: Participate in wider IT projects that enhance overall technological infrastructure

Develop backup and recovery plans for time clock data: Establish procedures to safeguard data against loss or corruption

Manage inventory of time clock and IT equipment: Keep track of hardware and software assets and plan for replacements or upgrades as needed

Stay updated with the latest in time clock technology and IT trends: Continuously learn about new technologies and methods in time management and IT

Coordinate with external vendors and service providers: Liaise with technology suppliers and contractors for system support and upgrades

Analyze and report on time clock system usage and trends: Provide insights on employee time tracking patterns and system usage

Ensure seamless integration of time clock system with other business applications: Work towards integrating the time clock system with other enterprise software for streamlined operations

Perform any additional duties as assigned by management

QUALIFICATIONS

Must be 18 years of age or older

Eligible to work in the United States

Ability to work onsite, Monday through Friday

Proficient in English (reading, writing, and speaking)

Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus

Previous experience in IT support or time clock maintenance required

UltiPro experience:

3-5 years

Time clock management and support:

3-5 years

Active Directory and Office 365 account management:

2-3 years

Ticket system management:

3-5 years

Mobile device management experience is a plus

Strong technical knowledge of time clock systems and IT equipment

Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

Familiarity with payroll and timekeeping processes, preferably in an airport or similar environment

Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and clients both in person and electronically

Must pass a background check and drug screening

Flexibility to work extended hours as needed to support field operations
