The Piedmont Triad Regional Council requires a skilled and mission-driven professional to lead reentry coordination in Forsyth County-developing strategic partnerships, ensuring program compliance, and improving outcomes for justice-involved individuals through evidence-based practices and community collaboration.

requires the application of considerable professional knowledge in program evaluation to formulate effective service delivery, performance evaluation, and improvement efforts. Also includes developing policies, and procedures, streamlining processes to maximize goal attainment and recommending actions needed to correct deficiencies. Analyzing Reentry Program performance, identifying emerging issues, and developing solutions. The Reentry Coordinator must exercise creativity, initiative, and independent judgment to assist program providers in developing and implementing recruitment strategies to ensure performance metrics are being met.

Position Requirements

A combination of education and work experience equivalent to a Bachelor's degree, and management with considerable experience related to the position. For example, knowledge of principles and practices of the criminal justice system and law enforcement and public administration. The successful candidate possesses the ability to work independently; review information for accuracy and consistency; interpret regulations; determine when to seek guidance from superiors; and possess strong analytical and critical thinking skills.

Description of work and conditions: Performs administrative duties, such as the development of policies, procedures, assessment process, and reporting systems in accordance with program requirements Establishes monitoring and evaluation processes and systems to determine program effectiveness Utilizes the state's mandated data platform to monitor and manage program activities and generate reports Remain current on program requirements, by attending meetings, workshops, seminars, and training sessions In support of the Local Reentry Council (LRC), develops agreements and programs with community agencies to provide a variety of services needed by clients Prepares reports for board meetings, makes field visits, schedules, oversees, and facilitates pre-release classes, and maintains class records and reports Requirements:

Knowledge of local, state and federal laws, and rules and regulations applicable to administration of community-based corrections programs as well as community-based correctional programming trends Working knowledge of barrier mitigation, counseling practices, and behavioral modification techniques Ability to establish/maintain effective working relationships with partner agencies Ability to express ideas effectively orally and in writing Graduation from a four-year college or university with a degree in criminal justice, law enforcement, social work, psychology or related field and experience in providing case management services required; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Salary Range Salary $51,001.20 DOQ. Organization provides excellent benefits including NC Local Governmental Employees Retirement System (NCLGERS).
