Overview
GovCIO is currently hiring for a Cyber Invstigations Instructor to develop and deliver training on digital forensics and cybersecurity incidents. This position will be located in Columbia MD, and will be an on-site position.
Responsibilities
Plans, develops, and implements technical product or system training programs for customers, and/or employees, and field support personnel. Technical training may include standard, repeatable modules, customized and new product modules. Obtains information from customer and technical organizations, engineering, software and product requirements to prepare training programs; prepares lesson plans and training materials; designs product demonstrations; develops course content; determines methodology; and coordinates the development of training aids. Conducts training sessions, demonstrations, and develops criteria for evaluating effectiveness of training activities. Requires prior technical subject matter knowledge and experience. May administer tests. May include military trainers.
Designing and updating lesson plans, course materials, and practical exercises related to digital forensics and cyber investigations.
Conducting classroom and hands-on training sessions, using a variety of teaching methods to engage students and facilitate learning
Maintaining a strong understanding of current cybersecurity threats, digital forensics tools, and investigation techniques.
Evaluating student performance through tests, assignments, and projects, providing feedback to help them improve
Qualifications
High School with 10+ years (or commensurate experience)
Required Skills and Experience
Clearance Required: Secret
6+ yrs experience delivering comprehen-sive cybersecurity training, with 5+ years of expertise in cyber investigations and related disciplines
Skilled in instruction (ISD, ADDIE, Bloom's taxonomy, SAMR), incident handling, cyber analysis, and communication
IAT Level II or higher

Posted Pay Range
The posted pay range, if referenced, reflects the range expected for this position at the commencement of employment, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, education, experience, and internal equity. The total compensation package for this position may also include other compensation elements, to be discussed during the hiring process. If hired, employee will be in an "at-will position" and the GovCIO reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, GovCIO or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
