Triangle Family Practice is a fast-paced clinic providing comprehensive care for patients of all ages, from infancy to geriatrics. With 15 providers and plans to expand, the clinic sees 200-280 patients daily. Services include family and internal medicine, pediatrics, preventative care, chronic illness management, women's health, and diabetes education. A pharmacist is available on Tuesdays and Thursdays, enhancing the clinic's patient-centered approach to healthcare.Location: 6020 Fayetteville Road, Durham, NC 27713Hours: 7am - 5pm Monday - FridayWhat you will do: Clinical Operations ManagementManage and coordinate patient care and personnel needs in a DUHS clinic.Work performed involves managing multi-specialty nursing services delivered within a specified clinic.Manage the clinic in the absence of the HealthCare Administrator/Practice Manager; be available on-call for emergencies involving the facility or staff.Develop and implement processes to enhance clinic operations and practices for ongoing quality improvement.Identify clinical operational needs; manage appropriate levels of equipment and supplies, and monitor equipment maintenance.Assess the environment and make recommendations to ensure optimal patient comfort, safety, and compliance with regulatory bodies (e.g., OSHA, JCAHO).Develop, document, implement, and monitor written policies and procedures reflective of the ambulatory healthcare site's mission and objectives.Perform other related duties incidental to clinic operations.Strategic Planning & Program DevelopmentPlan, develop, implement, and evaluate ambulatory health care services, programs, and activities.Collaborate with the Health Center Administrator/Nurse Manager in determining fiscal requirements; submit budgetary recommendations including necessary nursing personnel and patient care materials.Personnel Management & DevelopmentManage various personnel actions including, but not limited to, hiring, orientation, performance appraisals, promotions, and scheduling.Counsel and conduct formal discipline of clinical staff as needed.Collaborate in the development, implementation, and expansion of learning opportunities and skill development for all clinical staff.Collaborate with nursing colleagues in ambulatory care to promote optimal utilization of nursing resources among various clinics.Patient & Family-Centered CareAnalyze, develop, and maintain an effective and efficient nursing care delivery system that reflects patient and family needs across the continuum, achieving desired outcomes.Promote education for patients, patient families, and the community. Master's degree in Nursing strongly preferred.ExperienceThree years of nursing experience is required.Degrees, Licensures, CertificationsMust have current or compact RN licensure in the state of North Carolina.
