ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Answer helpdesk phone calls and input support issues into tracking system.

• Resolve or escalate Helpdesk tickets as necessary.

• Troubleshooting and repair PC software and hardware issues.

• Setup and install computer workstation hardware.

• Validate Backup operations for workstation devices.

• Ensure all Workstation backups are completed.

• resolve errors in Commvault backup SAAS or escalate accordingly.

• Enroll Mobile devices on Microsoft Intune.

• Troubleshoot Mobile devices and PC's not in Compliance in Intune.

• Ensure all workstations are enrolled in Intune.

• Deploy images to PC workstations.

• Setup and Deploy CISCO VOIP Phones and accessories.

• Research and investigate virus warnings and incidents.

• Remediate Vulnerabilities on workstations as identified by the vulnerability program.

• Configure user profiles on workstations.

• Create CWS profiles.

• Reset UKG Passwords.

• Reset CAT accounts.

• Deploy mobile devices, cell phones, tablets, and parts scanners.

• Troubleshoot Printers and MFPs as needed.

• Manage Toner supplies across the organization.

• Travel between locations to install or repair hardware and software .

ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS

Assist IS Manager, Network Administrator, DBS Administrator with installation and maintenance of routers, switches, servers, cabling, phones, and other IT hardware as needed. Diagnose printer malfunctions and notify third party managed print provider. Support rotating on call schedule. Other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS/KNOWLEDGE/SKILL/ABILITY

• Minimum of high school graduate or equivalent.

• Have a valid driver's license and must be insurable under the company insurance policy.

• Minimum one (1) year of hands-on experience supporting personal computers in a business environment or may be substituted with education.

• Solid understanding of personal computer systems and software.

• Experience with Microsoft Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office and antivirus software.

• Basic Understanding of the Apple iOS and Android mobile operating system platforms.

• Ability to learn Caterpillar and third-party software applications.

• Ability to learn and adapt quickly to new developments in personal computer technology.

• Professional oral and written communication skills required.

Company supplied MSHA training may be required to support users at mine site locations. Must obtain Genie Lift certification.

• Knowledge of Microsoft Windows 11 Enterprise.

• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Platforms.

• Knowledge of Adobe software.

• Knowledge of MS Dynamics D365.

• Knowledge of Microsoft M365.

• Knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory.

• Knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID thorough understanding of MFA.

• Basic understanding of Cisco Networking.

• Basic understanding of Cisco Wi-Fi.

PHYSICAL/ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENTS

• Material and equipment directly used: Personal computer, computer terminal, and peripherals.

• Office environment requiring professional dress and appearance.

• Sit 6-8 hours.

• Use hand for repetitive fine manipulation.

• Viewing computer screens for extended periods.

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

• Climb several flights of stairs.

• Work in boom or scissor lift
