We’re building the infrastructure that will help banks work natively with stablecoins, unlocking fast, compliant, and programmable money movement.
Traditional banking is the backbone of the financial system, but it's built on legacy systems that are slow to evolve. Blockchains introduce new primitives (atomic settlement, programmability, global access) but they also bring their own unique technical challenges.
We’re doing something that hasn’t been done before: tightly integrating the regulated, centralised ledgers that govern almost all of finance with permissionless, decentralised networks. Our platform gives banks direct control over stablecoin flows with built-in compliance, observability, and safety. Our success will solve the last mile problem of stablecoins, enabling stablecoin access in the most familiar financial surface for billions of people.
We're early, funded, and moving fast. Our founders have deep experience in stablecoins, payments, and high-availability systems; experience built over many years at Solana Labs, Paxos, Google, and Reddit. We have best-of-breed backing investors including Solana.
We’re looking for a
senior backend engineer
to join as our
first technical hire . This role is ideal for someone who thrives on systems thinking and is excited to build foundational infra in a regulated, high-stakes domain. Furthermore, we operate with a high level of trust and autonomy.
Everyone on the team is expected to take ownership, make decisions, and drive execution.
You’ll be hands-on with core systems, from liquidity management to compliance workflows, and help us lay down the rails that connect traditional banking to the world of digital assets.
What You'll Do
Own the design and implementation of backend services that manage liquidity, compliance, and transactional flows
Ship clean, well-tested TypeScript code and evolve our architecture as we scale
Work closely with the founders on everything from API ergonomics to bank core integrations
Build with an eye toward correctness, observability, and auditability in order to scale the system to billions in volume
Shape engineering culture and help make early hiring decisions
What We're Looking For
5+ years of backend experience, ideally building high-uptime systems in fintech, crypto, or banking
Prior experience working on either fintech/banking compliance systems and/or managing crypto or fiat liquidity
Track record of building and scaling infrastructure from the ground up
Strong command of TypeScript
Comfortable with ambiguity and excited by early-stage execution
Experience in a remote-first company including strong communication skills and an understanding of building remote-first culture
Good to have: familiarity with NestJS
Good to have: familiarity with fp-ts, or other functional programming approaches
Good to have: experience with GCP and/or building in regulated environments (compliance, KYC/AML, etc.)
Bonus: experience working with banking cores (e.g. FIS, FiServe, Jack Henry)
