for the world's top brands and manufacturers. Fuel your career with GEODIS and discover endless growth opportunities. Your role on the team: (job description) Own the U.S. Ocean Freight P&L , including Revenue, Gross Profit, TEU/CBM growth, and EBIT performance. Lead a

core team of 5

and influence an

indirect network of ~80

across the U.S. Serve as

strategic partner to Sales , joining

at least one week/month

of customer calls (virtual or in-person) to support growth and retention. Drive

solution differentiation

in Ocean through process, pricing, and product innovation (FCL, LCL, Drayage, Co-Loaders). Design and execute

KPI frameworks and QBRs

with carriers, trucking companies, and co-loaders. Oversee

station performance

to ensure consistency, service excellence, and escalation management. Control and manage Detention & Demurrage , including enforcement of the

GEODIS Ocean Tariff

and regular

station-level follow-ups

to reduce costs and improve visibility. Lead automation and efficiency initiatives

using bots and Shared Service Center collaboration. Champion effective and optimized use of

CargoWise

- operations, pricing, execution, and visibility. Support regional procurement initiatives and align local actions with global Ocean strategy. Represent GEODIS in key strategic conversations - externally with carriers and partners, and internally with leadership.

What you need: (requirements) 10+ years

of experience in U.S. Ocean Freight leadership roles. 3+ years

hands-on usage of

Cargo Wise

- not theoretical. Proven experience managing full P&L with revenue, GP, and volume targets. Deep knowledge of

FCL, LCL, inland trucking, and co-loader strategies. Experience building and managing

KPI systems, SOPs, and QBRs. Leadership of both direct and matrix-style operational teams. Knowledge of

automation tools

and

Shared Service Center models . Fluent English

required;

Spanish and/or Portuguese

are a strong plus. Must be based in

EWR, LAX, MIA, or CHI

with availability for a

hybrid work model. Must have valid U.S. work authorization

(Citizen, Green Card, or Visa).
