Minimum 10 years of recent hands-on software development experience in C++ . Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), Data Structures, Design Patterns, and STL Templates. Proficiency in SQL and related database tasks including indexing and transaction management (Sybase/Oracle/MS SQL). Experience working in fixed income transaction processing with solid knowledge of fixed income products. Familiarity with message-based systems (e.g., Tibco RV, IBM MQ, ZeroMQ). Hands-on experience with scripting languages such as Python or Perl. Knowledge of software configuration management tools - JIRA, SVN, Git, Cruise Control. Proficient in working with Windows environments. Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain high-performance C++ applications for fixed income and repo trading systems. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements and deliver robust financial solutions. Integrate and maintain messaging systems for real-time data flow and system communication. Write and optimize complex SQL queries, ensuring database performance and integrity. Use version control, bug tracking, and build management tools as part of the software development lifecycle. Engage in code reviews, testing, and automation to maintain code quality and reliability. Provide production support and resolve technical issues quickly and effectively. Work closely with business stakeholders and front-office teams to align system features with trading and operational needs. Document software components, maintain system specifications, and contribute to ongoing process improvements.
