Job Description: Support and mature the client's vulnerability and patch management program from policy through implementation.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
Own and evolve end-to-end vulnerability and patch management processes Coordinate patching responsibilities across Infra, App, and Security teams Build patch schedules, testing protocols, and rollback strategies Define and track KPIs to improve performance Set SLAs with system, development, network, and cloud teams Monitor SLA compliance and highlight gaps Lead stakeholder syncs to review performance and blockers Run and analyze vulnerability scans (weed out false positives, prioritize risks) Track remediation efforts end-to-end with complete documentation Stay informed on new threats and communicate mitigation strategies Collaborate with IT ops to ensure patch deployment success Maintain dashboards and reporting on patch and risk health Requirements:
Must-Haves: 3+ years in vulnerability management 4+ years in overall cybersecurity roles Hands-on experience with patching tools (e.g., SCCM, WSUS, Intune) Familiarity with scanning tools (e.g., Tenable, Qualys, Rapid7) Strong grasp of patching and vulnerability processes for Microsoft environments Experience with Artic Wolf or similar platforms
Nice-to-Haves: Basic Linux knowledge Experience building vulnerability/patch programs from scratch
