Systems Administrator Location: Seymour, IN. Hybrid. Must be in driving range.
SUMMARY Systems Administrator is responsible for the technical design, planning, implementation, performance tuning, and recovery procedures for mission critical enterprise systems. Systems administrator maintains and ensures security, availability, and performance of computers, servers, storage and applications in a multi-site Windows environment. Needs to be passionate about technology and know how to best meet end user and business needs. Serves as a technical expert in the area of system administration for Microsoft Servers, VMware, Horizon, Microsoft 365, Cloud services, etc. This position also recommends the redesign and configuration of operating systems and system applications. Performs a broad range of complex computer systems administration duties including:
Provides technical support for workstation, server and network hardware, software and peripheral equipment Upgrade existing hardware and software Correct reported hardware and/or software problems Perform a variety of technical tasks relative to assigned area of responsibility SKILLS AND EXPECTATIONS
VMWare Virtual Server Environment Microsoft Windows OS, Active Directory, Exchange, 365, Azure, SCCM, SharePoint Storage SAN/NAS/FC/ISCSI Compute Cisco UCS, HCI, Cloud Application Delivery VMWare Horizon, Zero clients, SSO Network Cisco LAN/WAN/Wireless 24 x 7 on call availability Flexible to work overtime and after hours Ability to work in fast paced environment and lead multiple projects under strict deadlines Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate in a positive, professional manner throughout all levels of the organization
LICENSE/CERTIFICATION Preferred: Microsoft, VMware, Cisco networking, EMC storage or similar industry certifications.
EXPERIENCE Minimum: 3+ years working experience in information technology or related field. Preferred: 5+ years working experience in information technology or related field. Prior experience managing complex IT infrastructure in a highly available, 24x7x365 environment. Healthcare experience.
