Position: Linux Administrator
Location: Raleigh, NC(Remote)
Experience: 8+ Years
As a Linux Administrator, you will be a part of an Agile team to build healthcare applications and implement new features while adhering to the best coding development standards.
Responsibilities: - In depth knowledge of Linux: RedHat/Rocky (preferred), or CentOS, Debian, etc. Hands on experience with use and administration of PostgreSQL (preferred) or related database Proficiency in AWS services and cloud infrastructure management, including familiarity with the AWS CLI and/or API Experience managing and supporting application deployments on Kubernetes Expert in Shell, Perl, and/or Python scripting Experience in identifying bottlenecks due to insufficient system or network resources Ability to identify race conditions, inefficient algorithms, and similar issues in preexisting code of various languages Experience with Linux-based web servers such as nginx (preferred), Apache HTTP Server, etc. Knowledge of security best practices including firewalls, server/application patching, encryption/cipher suites, and HTTP security headers Solid knowledge of protocols such as DNS, HTTP, TLS, SMTP Hands-on experience with GitHub, Argo CD, Terraform, and Ansible for infrastructure automation Strong problem-solving skills Support 24/7/365 mission-critical environments Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to communicate technical subjects to a broad range of stakeholders "
Educational Qualifications: - Engineering Degree - BE/ME/BTech/MTech/BSc/MSc. Additional Linux certifications (RHCT, RHCE and LPIC) will be considered an advantage
