Nurse Manager Primary Care Community Health Center A non-profit Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) that provides housing, healthcare, home health, behavioral health, addiction treatment, and more in collaboration with many community partners is seeking a primary care nurse manager. Center offers primary, preventive, and behavioral health care services to children and adults who are homeless or at risk of homelessness, uninsured, under-insured, or low income. The Nurse Manager is responsible for managing the clinical support staff and operations provided within the Health Center. The Nurse Manager is a professional employee, trained to provide health related services. The Nurse Manager functions under the direction, instruction, and supervision of the Clinic Director. This includes a combination of administrative and medical practice responsibilities, which are related to the supervision of clinical support staff, policies, procedures, and practice. The Nurse Manager is actively involved in the coordination of patient care to ensure the smooth progression during the patients appointment and follow-up. The Nurse Manager Complete all necessary paperwork related to the position in a timely manner. Recruits, interviews, and onboards new employees, as necessary. Oversees orientation of new staff. Coordinates and facilitates Clinical Support Staff meetings. Ensures effective communication and coordination among team members through training and effective team meetings. Works with management team to ensure nurses and medical assistants are working at the top of their license / certificate. Works with management team to establish and implement clinical policies and procedures. Responsible for performance of clinical support staff. Evaluates information against standards while continuously monitor and control resources. Develops and builds teams through guidance and professional coaching efforts ensuring that teams are knowledgeable regarding patient population management and effective communicators for all segments of the patient population, particularly vulnerable populations. Work Schedule - Monday through Friday; 8:00am 5:00pm. ( Will be required to work occasional evenings and Saturdays).
