The Vice President of AI/ML Engineering - Enterprise Analytics and Automation (EAA) is a strategic leadership role responsible for overseeing the EAA portfolio. This role partners closely with CIOs and executive business sponsors to shape and execute a transformative automation and AI strategy that delivers measurable business value in the healthcare domain. The ideal candidate is a visionary leader with deep expertise in AI/ML, process innovation, and healthcare technology enablement.

Primary Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership & Vision

Define and drive the enterprise-wide strategy for analytics and automation, aligning with business goals and technology roadmaps

Lead large-scale AI/ML initiatives and ensure alignment with enterprise priorities and reuse across portfolios

Stakeholder Engagement

Collaborate with CIOs and executive sponsors to communicate strategy, performance, and ROI of the EAA portfolio

Build consensus across business and technology stakeholders to ensure shared vision and value delivery

Operational Excellence

Monitor and manage portfolio performance against financial and operational goals

Leverage analytics and reporting tools to track ROI and drive continuous improvement

Innovation & Best Practices

Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation

Implement best practices and standards across lines of business to ensure consistency and scalability

People Leadership

Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and mission alignment

Attract, develop, and retain top talent while building high-performing, diverse teams

Financial Management

Manage and grow a P&L, delivering on revenue and investment objectives

Drive financial planning and performance management across the EAA portfolio

Required Qualifications:

Education & Experience

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Healthcare Informatics, or a related field (Master's or MBA preferred)

15+ years of progressive leadership experience in enterprise technology, analytics, or automation, with at least 5 years in the healthcare industry

Proven experience leading large-scale AI/ML and digital transformation initiatives in payer, provider, or healthcare services organizations

Healthcare Domain Expertise

Deep understanding of healthcare data ecosystems, including EHRs, claims, clinical data, and interoperability standards (e.g., HL7, FHIR)

Familiarity with healthcare regulations and compliance frameworks (e.g., HIPAA, HITECH)

Experience working with population health, care management, revenue cycle, or value-based care analytics

Technical & Strategic Expertise

Strong grasp of AI/ML technologies, intelligent automation (RPA, IPA), and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)

Demonstrated ability to translate healthcare business needs into scalable, high-impact technology solutions

Experience with healthcare analytics platforms and tools (e.g., SAS, Tableau, Snowflake, Databricks)

Leadership & Influence

Exceptional executive presence with the ability to influence and communicate effectively with C-level stakeholders

Experience in building and leading high-performing, diverse teams across geographies

Strong change management skills with a track record of driving cultural and operational transformation

Financial & Operational Acumen

Experience managing a P&L and delivering against financial objectives, including revenue growth and investment optimization

Skilled in portfolio management, performance tracking, and ROI analysis using data-driven decision-making

Innovation & Industry Awareness

Passion for innovation with a strong pulse on emerging healthcare technologies and industry trends

Experience in fostering a culture of continuous improvement, experimentation, and agile delivery

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). No matter where or when you begin a career with us, you'll find a far-reaching choice of benefits and incentives. The salary for this role will range from $196,600 to $337,100 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
