Job Title: Full Stack Developer Location: Hybrid - Louisville, KY (Tues/Wed/Thurs Onsite) Employment Type: 6-Month Contract-to-Hire (Direct Hire option available for the right candidate) W2 Pay Rate: $55/hour Conversion Salary Range: $110,000 - $118,000 Work Hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM EST Visa Sponsorship: Will not sponsor or transfer Background/References: Required Interview Process: 2-step interviewIntroduction TPG is hiring a Full Stack Developer to support enterprise application development for a national insurance organization with 1000+ employees. Lead the design, development, and deployment of enterprise applications Write, test, and document clean code in Java, JavaScript, and SQL Design logical and physical architecture documents and models Modify and enhance existing systems for scalability and performance Coordinate small-to-medium development projects and prepare time estimates Mentor junior developers and lead code reviews Provide on-call support for production systems as needed Work cross-functionally with business and IT teams to translate requirements into solutions Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to iterative releases Must-Have Qualifications
Bachelor's degree (Computer Science preferred) 8+ years of software development experience Strong proficiency in:
Core Java, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, SQL Spring Frameworks, JEE, JDBC, Hibernate SOAP and RESTful web services
Familiarity with:
IBM WebSphere or similar app servers
JavaScript frameworks:
React, Angular, Vue.js, jQuery XML, JSON, Eclipse IDE
Insurance industry experience in Billing, Claims, Policy, or Client systems Strong communication and multitasking skills Experience working in Agile environments Preferred Qualifications
Project management training or certifications Experience with Agile project tools (JIRA, Confluence, etc.) Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps tools Demonstrated coaching or technical leadership experience Why Join?
