Director of Nursing (DON) - Licensed Practical Nurse - Assisted LivingWe are currently seeking a Director of Nursing (DON) who is a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to lead clinical operations in an assisted living facility. The DON provides clinical leadership for the nursing team and ensures smooth, compliant, and high-quality resident care. This position is responsible for overseeing nursing services within the scope of the Missouri Nurse Practice Act, ensuring care delivery aligns with community values and regulatory requirements.Responsibilities - Director of Nursing (DON):Make rounds to assess resident status and determine care needsCoordinate emergency response and provide support as neededDocument and report incidents and accidents; assist with investigationsEnsure caregiving practices comply with all state and regulatory standardsParticipate in relevant committeesComplete and oversee administrative reports and documentationProvide direct care when necessaryMaintain consistent, dependable on-site attendancePerform other duties as assigned by leadershipQualifications - Director of Nursing (DON):Must be a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with an active license in the state of MissouriProven leadership skills with strong organizational and time-management abilitiesRequirements - Director of Nursing (DON):Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in EnglishMust be able to interact professionally with residents, staff, and visitorsStrong ability to work collaboratively with a teamWe look forward to connecting with you!
