Manager, Laboratory Services

Virtus Healthcare Staffing seeks an experienced Laboratory Manager to lead our partner's clinical laboratory operations in Wildomar, CA. You will supervise a team of Clinical Laboratory Scientists (CLS) and Lab Assistants, ensuring efficient day-to-day functions, adherence to all protocols, and compliance with institutional, industry, and federal regulations (TJC, Client, CLIA '88).
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily laboratory operations, staffing, and workflow management. Ensure technical accuracy, quality control, and ongoing regulatory compliance. Manage departmental resources effectively to achieve operational goals and objectives. Foster staff development, teamwork, and maintain high standards of service. Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in Clinical Laboratory Science or a related field. Minimum three (3) years of clinical experience as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS). Minimum three (3) years of leadership/management experience in a clinical laboratory (acute care experience preferred). Meets State of California (Client, Laboratory Field Services) educational requirements for CLS licensure (active CA CLS license highly preferred). Strong understanding of laboratory scientific principles, management, financial, HR, and regulatory standards.
